Firms agree to expand Internet-based market research inside and outside Japan

Rochester, NY and Tokyo, Japan – September 28,
2000 – Harris Interactive (Nasdaq:
HPOL), the global leader in Internet-based market research, and Dentsu, Inc.,
Japan’s leading advertising agency, have signed a joint agreement to expand
Internet-based market research capabilities in Japan.
Harris Interactive has agreed to provide Dentsu
with access to its panel of over seven million online respondents for conducting
market research in the United States and other countries. Dentsu has agreed to
cooperate with Harris Interactive in developing the online market research
business in Japan. Both companies have also agreed to collaborate to develop and
improve market research technology, both inside and outside of Japan.

For Dentsu, its new relationship with Harris

clients with better knowledge of the U.S. and world marketplaces.
The agreement was signed on September 26 in
Tokyo.
