Giving Non Profits Insights and Access to Donors, Volunteers and Advocates

DonorPulse is an online omnibus survey specifically designed to reach a broad audience of non profit constituents, including contributors, high-value donors, volunteers, advocates and community influentials. DonorPulse includes a relevant and projectable audience of supporters who have interest and/or involvement in the non profit sector. DonorPulse provides organizations with access to the opinions of those who provide the most value to non profits and are often the target population of donor campaigns, advertising and non profit brand building.

What You Can Learn

DonorPulse is issued quarterly and can be used in a variety of ways, including:

  • Tracking awareness and favorability for non profit organizations.
  • Calculating the reach and effect of media campaigns and appeals.
  • Understanding the opinions of stakeholders about legislation and/or issues of public policy affecting the non profit sector.
  • Testing reaction to new programs, communications, campaigns and appeals.
  • Establishing baseline data for donor intent.
  • Conducting "polling for publicity" among a base of non profit supporters.

Who You Will Reach

The DonorPulse sample consists of an Internet panel of 2,000 self-identified charitable financial donors, volunteers, and advocates who are screened for various types of engagement in the non profit sector. In addition, the sample includes other hard-to-reach sub-populations:

  • up to 800 volunteers
  • approximately 300 to 400 organizational advocates
  • 200 community influentials
  • up to 150 high-value donors (defined as those who give $5,000 or more annually to non profits)

According to a recent Harris Poll Online survey:

  • 80% of Americans made a financial contribution to a non profit in the past year
  • 31% of Americans have volunteered on behalf of a church or religious organization in the past year
  • 22% of Americans say they will give more financial support in the coming year to non profits than they gave last year
  • 22% of Americans say they are extremely or very confident in America’s non profit institutions

Cost

The cost per closed-ended question will be approximately $1,200.
